Is the consultation worth it if I'm not sure about in-person treatment?
Yes - and honestly, that uncertainty is exactly why you should book one. You'll leave with a full scalp evaluation, a clear explanation of what's actually going on, and a personalised plan you can act on. Even if you decide in-person treatment isn't for you, you're walking away knowing what's driving your condition and what to do about it.
I've already seen a doctor, barber, or dermatologist. Why would this be different?
Because most practitioners - even good ones - don't specialise in these specific conditions. AKN and Folliculitis Decalvans are frequently misdiagnosed or managed with generic advice that doesn't get to the root of the problem. The difference here is condition-specific expertise, not a general assessment. How many in-person sessions will I need?
That depends on your scalp, the severity of your condition, and how it responds to treatment - which is why we don't put a number on it before we've assessed you. What we will do is give you an honest picture during your consultation, so you know what to expect before you commit to anything. Many client see noticeable changes within a few weeks.
